Dear Baby,
Yesterday I got to see you up on a screen. You were all black and white, but I know that you're a looker already.
The doctor said the two most important things a mommy can hear, that you are happy and healthy. After that it was all fun and games finding your little body parts on the screen.
All of your measurements indicated that your growth is exactly on time-20 weeks, except for your legs which measured a week ahead of the rest of your body. Are you going to be tall baby? That would be unexpected. And really neat. I wish you luck.
The doctor said that even though you're right on target for growth, the reason people can't see my belly yet is because I am not making as much fluid for you to swim in as other women do for their babies. Basically, I'm squishing you. So maybe you will be small? Sorry about that. Doctor Kim said the amount of fluid I do have is perfectly adequate for my size as your mommy.
I hope you know how excited daddy and I were to see you again!
Other things to note:
Even though I don't really have a bump, my belly button is almost popped. Thanks a lot, not!
My legs are getting tired quickly nowadays, apparently gaining weight is hard on them. It's okay baby, it's totally worth it. Keep growing! {However the consistent charley horses that began this week in my calves aren't quite as nice, so if you could keep those to a minimum that would be nice-thanks!}
Yesterday I unbuttoned my pants in public for the first time, since my shirt was long enough and I was sore, and oh boy we'll be doing more of that soon.
Love,
Mommy

This makes me so happy. SO happy. :) I love your little baby bump. And your baby. :) HOORAY!
